We have taken handover of 16 new affordable homes at a development in Wanborough, near Swindon.
The properties, a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bed houses - 12 for affordable rent and 4 for shared ownership – have been built by Bellway Homes at the new Redlands Grove development in the parish of Wanborough, just a few miles from Swindon town centre.
Our properties are part of a larger development that will include 370 homes, a new primary school and secondary school and open spaces for recreational use, once complete.
Colin Bloodworth, our Director of Development and Partnerships, said: “Cottsway has a growing number of properties in the Swindon area and it’s great to have partnered with Bellway Homes here. We’re delighted to be welcoming Cottsway customers to our new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership.
“There is a huge need for affordable housing, and we are continually working hard to provide more homes. We are also working with another developer to provide an additional 24 units at Redlands Grove and look forward to taking handover of these later this year.”
Christel Hawkins, Sales Manager for Bellway South West, said: “We pride ourselves on being a responsible housebuilder. Bellway caters for a range of buyers and we are building a total of 81 homes at the Redlands Grove development. It has been a pleasure to work with Cottsway to provide these 16 affordable properties and we look forward to seeing the new residents settling in.”
