We are the largest local Registered Provider (RP) of social housing within the West Oxfordshire District. Our offices are in the market town of Witney and our homes include general needs flats, houses and bungalows, and sheltered units. We also provide services to 135 leaseholders and over 180 part owners in our shared ownership schemes.
We aim to be accessible and approachable so residents can ask for, and receive, an efficient and effective service.
We provide services to customers and residents from a broad cross section of our local community and the principles of equality of opportunity are very important to us.
Cottsway Housing Association Ltd (formerly called West Oxfordshire Housing) was formed for the specific purpose of receiving the transfer of West Oxfordshire District Council’s housing stock. The transfer took place in March 2001, following a successful ballot of the Council’s tenants and the approval of the Secretary of State.
We are a not-for-profit housing association and our income comes entirely from rents. Cottsway became a charitable industrial and provident society in 2009.
