This refreshed appraisal comes after an in-depth assessment of Cottsway by the Regulator earlier in 2023. The ratings have been published today on the Regulator of Social Housing’s website.

It means that we have retained:

• G1 for Governance - this is the highest possible rating and shows we are compliant with the Regulator’s governance standards.
• V1 for Viability - again, the highest possible rating, illustrating that we meet the Regulator’s viability requirement and have the financial capacity to deal with a wide range of adverse scenarios.

The ratings show that Cottsway continues to be in a strong, robust position. This is particularly pleasing given the extra challenges of the current economic climate and the continual increasing regulations that housing associations must comply with.
