Sue Lakin

As Deputy Chief Executive, Sue helps to lead Cottsway and as well as being part of the Executive Team she is responsible for all operations across the organisation. She works with other Directors, Heads of Service, managers and staff, across all operational and customer-facing services.

This includes:

• Housing - from neighbourhood housing and customer services through to work in communities and customer engagement and tenancy support, including financial inclusion and welfare.
• Assets – ensuring quality homes, maintained to the Government’s ‘Decent Homes’ standards as a minimum.
• Property services – overseeing an in-house repairs and maintenance team responsible for delivering a high-quality, responsive repairs service for customers.

Sue has significant experience in the housing sector, starting her career in frontline services. She has previously worked in senior positions at a variety of sector organisations, with responsibility for a range of services, including housing management, repairs and maintenance, asset management and development.
