Welcome to our new Board Members

Matt Hamilton

Matt (pictured above left) has spent most of his career in senior customer-focused roles across the utilities and telecoms sectors. He’s currently Chief Customer Officer at Portsmouth Water, with a strong focus on putting customers at the heart of decision-making and delivering better outcomes for customers and communities.

Technology and digital transformation have been a major focus throughout his career, particularly how they can improve customer experience and help organisations work more effectively, including more recently exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by AI.

For the past two years, he has been an Independent Board Member for Winchester City Council’s housing services, providing strategic oversight and challenge across customer experience, performance and service improvement.

Mike Grist

Mike (pictured above right) has over 40 years’ experience in construction, housing development, asset management and building safety.  He is currently director of Cleeve Consulting Limited, a specialist housing consultancy, and has previously held executive and non-executive director roles with a number of housing associations.

Mike’s passion is regeneration as, having grown up in social housing and worked in the sector for many years’, he has first-hand experience of the impact of the quality of place on people’s lives and is keen to use this experience for the benefit of Cottsway’s customers.
