Sixteen new affordable homes are to be built as part of a new development in Stanton Harcourt, West Oxfordshire.
We've just exchanged contracts on the new properties to be built by Deanfield Homes.
The scheme, to be accessed off Blackditch, will provide 11 new homes for affordable rent and 5 for shared ownership – with a mix of 1 bed-maisonettes and 2 and 3-bed houses.
Colin Bloodworth, our Assistant Director of Development and Assets, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Deanfield Homes again. This is the fourth site we’ve worked with them on and this new development will provide additional much-needed affordable housing for the area.”
Andrew Harvey for Deanfield Homes added: “Lying within easy reach of both Witney and Oxford, ‘Deanfields’ (the development’s marketing name) is in a great location, in a picturesque village surrounded by breath taking countryside. We hope to start construction work autumn 2021 and expect the new homes to be ready from autumn 2022.”
Further details of the new homes will be made available closer to the time of completion:
- Affordable rent: via Homeseeker Plus. Applicants need to be registered with West Oxfordshire District Council before applying.
- Shared ownership: Help to Buy South - and our website. Anyone wishing to apply needs to be registered on the Help to Buy South website.
