We are now using mapping software to more accurately identify the land that we own and need to maintain. We also keep a database of trees and hedgerows that are our responsibility and make sure that these are kept safe and do not obstruct properties, roads or pavements.
However, some grassed areas, trees and hedgerows on our sites are owned by other parties eg local authorities and private landowners, and they are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their own land.
