Deal signed for new affordable ‘fabric first’ homes in Tetbury

We have recently exchanged contracts to deliver eight new affordable homes at a development in Tetbury.

Wiltshire-based Stonewood Homes, a family-run business with over 50 years of design and construction experience, will be building the homes on our behalf.

The development – known as Worwell Farm – is located off Cirencester Road, a 15-minute walk from the town centre, and will include 4 x 3-bed houses for social rent and 4 x 1-bed maisonettes for affordable rent.

These Cottsway homes are part of a larger development by Stonewood Homes, which will provide 27 timber-framed homes along with a new (replacement) doctor’s surgery for the local community.

This development is being designed with a ‘fabric first’ approach to ensure energy efficiency is built in from the start. The site layout has been carefully planned to suit the landform, and the homes are positioned to maximise natural light and passive solar gain. The buildings will also be constructed with energy-efficient materials to help maintain a consistent internal temperature, which should help to reduce the energy usage and help keep bills low.

To further support sustainable living, the homes will feature solar panels, air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points

Construction is already underway, and the first Cottsway homes are expected to be ready from early 2026.

Homes will be advertised on the Homeseeker Plus website closer to completion. To apply, all prospective residents must be registered: www.homeseekerplus.co.uk
