Birds nesting in your chimney?

Chimneys can be a popular spot for some birds to build their nests.

As with all bird nests, those found in chimneys are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act, which means it's illegal to move or disturb them until the nesting season has ended.

However, once nesting season ends - usually between September and early March - we will look to fit a cowl to stop birds from getting back in if needed.

Thanks for your patience in the meantime.
