Barbara Taeed

Barbara joined our Board as a co-optee in February 2024 and is Chair Designate of our Audit and Risk Committee. 

With more than 30 years in Financial Services, Barbara has held roles in commercial and consumer banking in Barclays and in not-for-profit, working at the heart of the banking systems, steering the cyber security and integrity agenda across the sector in the public interest. 

Barbara leads an academic Think Tank focusing on non-financial value and the use of emerging technologies including AI, crypto and the Metaverse. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Hinckley and Rugby Building Society and a Trustee for MK-Act, women’s aid refuge and services in Milton Keynes.
