Could you be the right person to join our Board?
We are recruiting for two Board Members to join us and fulfil two distinct roles - one covering 'Customer and Transformation (and Chair of the Cottsway Customer Committee' and the other 'Development and Placemaking'.
These Non-Executive Director (NED) roles will further strengthen our Board and support delivery of our Corporate Plan.
Cottsway is a thriving, regionally-focused housing association operating across West Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. We own and manage around 6,000 homes, providing affordable rent and low‑cost home ownership to over 13,000 customers. With a turnover of c£50m, a housing asset base of c.£545m and G1/V1 regulatory ratings, we are financially strong, values‑led and ambitious for the future.
Formed in 2001, and recently marking our 25th anniversary, we are proud to be the largest affordable housing provider in West Oxfordshire. Demand for homes in our region is extremely high, and we are committed to using our strong financial position to invest in existing homes, deliver high‑quality services, and build more affordable homes where they are most needed. Alongside this, we are embracing digital innovation, strengthening customer involvement, and advancing our net‑zero ambitions to ensure our homes are fit for the future.
This is an exciting time to join Cottsway. We are looking for different skillsets for each of the two available roles and it’s important that we get the right people for these roles, so we are working with Odgers, an executive search firm, to help us with these appointments.
Please see the relevant role information and candidate brief on the Odgers website:
- Customer and Transformation NED (and Chair of the Cottsway Customer Committee)
- Development and Placemaking NED
The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 18 May 2026.
