New Chair for Cottsway

Cottsway is delighted to announce that we have appointed Andrew Hall as our new Chair.

Andrew joins us from a strong commercial background and with a wealth of experience from both executive and non-executive roles. He will start with us in January 2019.

Andrew is Chair of HouseMark – one of the UK housing sector’s largest membership organisations jointly owned by the Chartered Institute of Housing and the National Housing Federation – which helps organisations to drive up performance improvements.

Cottsway houses more than 10,000 residents and Andrew joins as we continue with an ambitious development programme to provide 6,000 homes by 2023.

Andrew said: “I am delighted to have been chosen to take on this role. It is an important time for the housing sector and an exciting time to be joining Cottsway as it continues with a clear development plan, along with a strong customer and community focus.

“I believe that locally-focused providers like Cottsway are best-positioned to work closely with partner organisations to make a real difference in the sector and to provide more opportunities for people in housing need. I’m very much looking forward to being part of this.”

Andrew succeeds Richard Purchase, who has been Interim Chair since July 2018 and will continue as a Board Member.

Cottsway’s Chief Executive Vivian Rosser said: “Andrew brings with him vast experience and we are pleased to have him join us to help us continue to build upon on our success and grow for the future.”
