The core of our development strategy is to address the problem of how to provide more affordable homes for local people.

The development team at Cottsway works closely with the District Council, Oxfordshire Rural Community Council, local parish councils and other relevant stakeholders throughout West Oxfordshire to identify areas where there is a need for more affordable housing and potential sites for building new homes.

Cottsway is a founder member of the Sovereign Development Consortium and the Oxfordshire Rural Housing Partnership.  It also works in partnership with West Oxfordshire District Council and the Thames Valley Energy Centre (TVEC).

Through these partnerships we are able to maximise funding, development opportunities and procurement policies, ensuring value for money in all our schemes.  

We are also able to ensure that our new development schemes incorporate the latest thinking in terms of lifestyle choices for tenants and the use of new technologies for energy conservation.
